Birmingham is a very green city and has a great number of trees. Many large trees can be found in the Southern side of the city and the tallest are generally the poplars.

This is a Poplar in Cannon Hill Park, Birmingham, taken in 2008. It's one of the tallest trees in the city, perhaps the tallest. Probably about 40+ metres tall. |
