Beech trees

The trees growing from the dark forest floor grow taller to reach the light
The trees with the greatest height, stand in the valley & reach for the light
(Difficult situations can lead to wisdom if we rise to the challenge)

(If things are bleak, looking down, or you messed up, you don't need to worry about it. You just need to sincerely try to do better from now on. )

The tallest beech trees I've ever seen: probably around 40m. In a park in Blankenese, Hamburg Germany.
